Year Two Weekly Blog, 14th December

Our week began brilliantly as we recreated the Great Fire of London on our playground. Thank you for all the support given to children to create the fantastic houses. Please view the year two Twitter page to see photos and videos of the Fire.

This week the children have been designing and making their own Christmas themed glove puppet as part of our Design and Technology week. For some of our children this has been their first experience of sewing and they've done a tremendous job. We will continue these next week as well as making a number of other festive things which the children will bring home to share with you. Next Monday is our Christmas party day and Christmas dinner is on Wednesday, so another fun-filled, exciting week is planned.
