Year 6 Weekly Blog 13.09.18

This week, year 6 have done a lot of writing linked to our new story, Hansel and Gretel by Neil Gaiman - the very realistic version! The descriptive writing for this one has been fantastic - look out for your child's book on parent's evening.

In history, the children have used toilet roll to create very long timelines, going back to the ancient Egyptians; we looked to see where the Maya fitted in to the history, chronologically.

In Science, we created models of the circulatory system, using electrical tape - blue and red - and the results were fantastic. Look for these on twitter.

It's the first session of swimming on Friday. Oh, and we also did a full set of SATs papers. Just another week in year 6!
