Year 4 weekly blog - week ending 25.4.19

Welcome back. We hope you all enjoyed the Spring Break. Once again we have had another busy week in Year 4, this is what we have been learning:

Maths – Fraction revision and assessment and looking at hundredths

English – Introduction to our new text Hetty Feather looking at character and setting.

Science –Introducing our new topic Electricity and thinking about power sources.

PHSE– Relationships- Loss

PE – Athletics

Music and ICT

Next week will be as busy as ever and we will continue to build on the skills and knowledge we have learnt this week.

English – Continuing to look at the text Hetty Feather.

Maths – Hundredths as decimals.

History – looking at the cotton trade and a local cotton broker from Elm Hall

Science – Circuits.
