What a great first half term we have had in Year 4! The children are all completely settled and we’re very proud of how hard they are all working.
This week in our Maths lessons we have carried on looking at column addition and column subtraction, you may wish to practise some calculations of your own at home, using 4 digit numbers. For example, 3456 + 4758 or 8913 – 2568. (The children should know what to do with exchanging.) Our school calculation policy can be found under ‘key information’ on the home page of our website. BBC bitesize is full of great video clips to help support with this too.
On Wednesday, we performed our Harvest assembly and we are really pleased with the feedback we have received – thank you! We hope you all enjoyed it, the children should all be so proud of themselves.
