This week in Year 3, we have been working extremely hard and enjoying the following activities:

• Maths:
• Reading time to the nearest 15 minutes
• Reading time to the nearest 5 minutes
• English – We have started our new topic of instructions. This week, we made a smoothie cookery video which children will then turn into a set of instructions.
• Geography – Drawing floor plans
• Science – Animals including Humans – What do we need to survive?
• Music, Computing and French
• P.E.

Next week, we shall be enjoying the following activities:

• Maths:
• Reading time to the nearest 1 minute past the hour
• Reading time to the nearest 1 minute to the hour
• A range of problems around reading the time to the nearest minute
• English – We shall continue our instructions topic next week and start to write the set of instructions that you can follow to make an ‘interesting’ smoothie.
• Geography – Drawing floor plans and maps
• Science – Animals including Humans – What do we need to stay healthy?
• Music, Computing and French
• P.E.
