Weekly Y1 Blog 5th October 2018

This week we have been learning:

Maths - Using the greater than and less than symbol. 

English - Looking at the suffix 'ing'. We have been creating our own story. 

Science - We explored our sense of touch. 

History - We have been playing games that our Grandparents recommended from their childhood. 

In addition to this we have been continuing to count forwards and backwards in multiples of 5.  We will continue to practise this.

Next week we will be:

Maths – We will be systematically working out number bonds

English - We will be writing sentences using capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.

Science - Exploring our sense of smell . 

History - We will be exploring what school was like for our Grandparents.
