We have had another fantastic week in Year 1.
This week we have been:
Maths – We explored the vocabulary of Greatest, Smallest, More than and Less than
English - We have been focussing on using capital letters for the beginning of names.
Science – We explored our senses and labelled our body
Next week we will be:
Maths – We will be looking at ordinal numbers (1st,2nd 3rd) and we will be using place value to place numbers on a number line.
English - We will be focussing on words ending with ‘ed’
History – We will be starting our project. Over the next few weeks we will be exploring the following question
‘How does the meaning of happiness change as you get older?’
Homework this week - Children have weekly spellings and assigned Mathletics homework. Check the login details in their reading diaries.
