6C's weird and wonderful creatures!

This week Year 6 have been exploring 'The Arrival' by Shaun Tan.  The story documents the journey of an immigrant to a new and unfamiliar country.  The book does not include words as the man is unable to understand the new language that he hears.  Typical pets become strange creatures, language becomes an indecipherable code and the city becomes an unrecognisable theme park of discovery.

Today we created the strange creatures that the man meets on his journey using dough.
