1N selecting maths equipment

In year 1 we are revisiting Number and making decisions about the equipment we want to use to solve problems. Some children wanted to use Numicon; others decided to use an empty number line and count on. We have also been looking at adding mentally and the number facts we know to help us: number bonds, doubles, partitioning into tens and units
