Cookery across the Curriculum - Year 2 making bread

Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed making bread on Thursday; it tasted as good as it looked! We decided to make it as we are learning about The Great Fire of London as part of our Fire! Fire! focus this term.  We weighed the ingredients and followed a recipe.

We wrote a set of instructions for how to make the bread in our English lesson on Friday and found that we were using lots of vocabulary in our writing we had used whilst cooking!
