Lesson: History

This afternoon 1N experienced school life in the Victorian times. The children 'paid' 1p for their education which included: a nail inspection, a handwriting session, mental arithmetic (chanted multiples of 2, 5 and 10), drill (PE) and they also memorised a piece of poetry.

Good, better, best,
Never let it rest,
Til your good is better,
And your better, best.

We finished the afternoon discussing the similarities and differences. What a fantastic afternoon!
