Weekly Y4 Blog 1.3.19

This week in Year 4, we have been working extremely hard once again. We have enjoyed learning about the following topics:

Maths – using the bus stop method for division, using our 11 and 12 times tables and multiplying 3 digits.

English – Leaflets – creating our own leaflet for our school.

History – Boudicca – who was she? Why is she important?

Science – Teeth investigation – what do your teeth do to the food you eat?

PE – Fitness

French – All about me – What is your name? How old are you?

Music and ICT

Next week is another fun filled week, were we will be learning about:

Maths – factors and area.

English – Information texts – qualities of a Roman soldier.

History – The Roman Army

Science – Food chains, predators and prey.

PE – Fitness

French – Games and songs

Music and ICT
