This week in Year 3, we have been working extremely hard and enjoying the following activities:

•  Maths:
•  Converting minutes into seconds and seconds into minutes
•  A range of minutes and seconds problems
•  Maths investigations involving minutes and seconds

• Art – This week, we focused on the artist Piet Mondrian. We evaluated a range of his art and then taught the children the skills needed in order to create a piece of artwork in the style of Piet Mondrian. Check out our Twitter page!
• Music, Computing and French
• P.E. – Striking and fielding
• R.E – How do Sikhs worship God

After half term, we shall be enjoying the following activities:

• Maths - Investigating horizontal, vertical, parallel and perpendicular lines
• English – Alternative Fairy Tales – The True Story of the Three Little Pigs
• History – Ancient Egyptian Gods
• Science  - Animals including Humans investigation

• Music, Computing and French
• P.E. – Dance
• R.E – How do Sikhs worship God
