We have had a very busy week in Year 1.
We have been learning:
Maths - Subtraction using part whole method.
English - We have been looking at the story 'Meerkat Mail'.
ICT - Introducing Scratch and starting to talk about computer programming.
Science - Looking at classification of animals.
We have been talking about how to be good friends and how to use kind hands.
We have also been focusing on counting backwards in 2s. We will continue to practise this.

Next week we will be:
Maths – We continue to explore subtraction
English - Using the suffix 'es' and 's'
Geography - talking about different types of houses.
Science - Looking at different animals and sorting them.
